Governance Structure
The General Agricultural Workers Union, as a conduit to running the organization, has a robust existing governance structure. These include:
- Ordinary or Extraordinary Delegates’ Conference
- The National Executive Council
- The Finance Committee
- National Officers Committee
- Women’s Committee
Other Structures of the organization:
- Divisions
- National secretariat
- Regional Delegates’ Conference/Regional Councils
- Regional Secretariats
Administrative Structure:
The Administrative structure of the Union is manned by the General Secretary and the Deputy General Secretary. They are full time officers of the union responsible for the smooth running and growth of the Union unlike the National Officers who are part time officers of the union.
